Flying to Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) is a great way to get to the island! Delta, JetBlue, American Airlines & United fly to and from the Nantucket Memorial Airport and you are able to fly onto the island via New York, Boston, etc. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns; we'll be happy to help or try to point you in the right direction.

Ferries
There are three main ferry operators providing transport to Nantucket: Hy-Line Cruises (leaving from Hyannis, MA) • Offers high-speed ferries only (no cars) Steamship Authority (leaving from Hyannis, MA) • Offers both high-speed ferries (no cars) or slow boats (can bring your car on) Seastreak (leaving from New Bedford, MA) • Offers high-speed ferries only (no cars) Each company offers either a high speed boat (no cars) that reaches the island in one hour; and/or a slow boat (can bring your car on) that reaches the island in two hours and fifteen minutes. Ferry schedules can be found on each company’s website, note that they change seasonally so ensure you are reviewing the correct range of dates when planning your travel! All ferries drop off in Nantucket Harbor, right in the heart of downtown! Ubers and cabs are plentiful from here to reach your on-island destination. Some hotels (including The Nantucket Hotel!) offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the ferry, please inquire through your hotel's concierge. Reservations are required for all ferry services, and can be reserved on the Ferry’s website. Don’t forget to bring a penny! Tossing a penny off the ferry while passing Brant Point Lighthouse on the way to Hyannis is an old Nantucket tradition that's said to ensure your return to the island.
