If you ask us how our relationship started, we’ll tell you the story of the photobooth. We met freshman year of college through mutual friends and classes, and we were friends first. Sophomore year, we were both at a fraternity date event— but not as each other’s dates. That night, we each went home with a copy of a photobooth strip of the two of us. Over the next few years, we stayed mostly friends, both wondering and hoping if and when we’d end up together. At the start of senior year, we realized we had both kept that photobooth strip. We’ve been together ever since. Shortly after college, Elise moved to Milwaukee and James lived in Chicago. We were "long distance" for 4 years, and loved spending time in both cities. Elise, George (cat #1, a perfect gentleman), and James moved to Denver in 2023. We quickly adopted Boswell (cat #2, big orange cat energy), and have been building our little life together since. Chicago is still home, and we're excited to get married in the city and show off it's glory to all our wonderful guests who might be visiting for the first time!
