Ronald Reagan National Airport

DC has many available airports, but we highly recommend Ronald Reagan National Airport to fly in for the wedding day. From there, it's a 15-20 minute Taxi/Shared Ride drive to all the hotels and venues! Most major carriers fly into National Airport.

Washington Dulles International Airport

DC has many available airports, but if you cannot find a flight to Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), please note you're in luck with Dulles (IAD). It's a 45 - 60 minute Taxi/Shared Ride drive from the airport to the hotels and venues. All carriers fly into Dulles.

Courtyard by Marriott Bethesda Chevy Chase

One of our recommended hotels with a hotel block. This is the nearest hotel to the wedding venue (5-10 minutes) that we have negotiated a room rate for the wedding day. It's also 10 miles from DCA airport. There will be transportation to and from this hotel to Meridian for the out-of-town guests the night before and the Chevy Chase Country Club during the wedding day.

The Dupont Circle Hotel

One of our recommended hotels with a hotel block. This is the other hotel to the wedding venue (20-30 minutes) that we have negotiated a room rate for the wedding day. It's also 5 miles from DCA airport (much closer since it's downtown) and is perfect for people who want to be downtown and enjoy the sites. There will be transportation to and from this hotel to the Chevy Chase Country Club on the wedding day. Transportation will not be provided for guests staying at this hotel for the out-of-town welcome reception. This hotel is a quick Uber / Lyft ride to the Meridian International House (5-10 minutes).

Train

Acela - Union Station

We've taken AMTRAK several times - we recommend the Acela if you're traveling from Boston, New York, or Philadelphia to Washington, DC (Union Station). It's a 15-20 minute Taxi/Shared Ride from Union Station to the hotels and venues.

Cabs / Ride-Shares

You can try your hand at the Metro, but if you've got your hands full or in a time crunch, these aren't the best choices for you. You've got a couple of options: you can call a cab or download the app and request a driver from Uber or Lyft. We recommend using a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft while traveling around DC. Rideshares usually come between 5 - 10 minutes. While some cabs take credit cards, please have on hand a little bit of cash just in case! Recommended cabs include: Yellow Cab of DC - (202) 544-1212
