While Carly was a (brand new) receptionist at Advantage Gold, she answered the phone to an English woman asking to speak to Adam (Carly's boss). Unknowing that they were engaged to be married, Carly continued to screen the call asking what the call was regarding (lol). Eventually, Carly met the mystery woman who is now her soon-to-be sister-in-law. Carly and Charlotte have bonded tremendously over having babies alongside each other and watching them grow up together.
Ollie Haskins
Best Man & Cousin
Ollie and James are first cousins - only a week apart! They have been close since they were born, and growing up together built a life-long brotherly bond. Over the years they've travelled to the far corners of the world, and those are memories close to James's heart. One of James's favorite memories is bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls bridge in Zimbabwe! Along with travelling, they share a love of card games (especially Hearts!) a passion passed down from their grandparents Nanny and Pa. Having been the best man to Ollie at his wedding last year, the honour and duty has been returned as Ollie is the best man to James. The celebration would not be complete without him!
Ashley Davis

Carly first met Ashley in 2007 when Ashley started dating Carly's oldest brother, Kenny. Ashley saw a lot of Carly's crazy phases in her life, most of which they don't speak about :) Carly's favorite early memory of them is when Ashley did her hair and makeup for her senior prom. Ashley has been there for a lot of pivotal moments in Carly's life, including being in the delivery room when Charlie was born. They defied the odds when they got pregnant at the same time in 2021 and gave birth three days apart from each other.
Kenny Davis
Groomsmen & Bride's Oldest Brother
Kenny has always made James feel part of the family. They have bonded over late night DIY margaritas and being #boydads. Their favorite pastimes with each other have been the annual family camping trip, watching UFC fights, working out, grabbing dinner at the local Lazy Dog, and all of the frequent trips Kenny made to see the bride and groom while they lived in LA. Since James doesn't like to get his hands dirty, Kenny has come to the rescue MANY times, whether it be mounting a TV or jump starting a car.
Katie Harrison
Bridesmaid & High School BFF
Carly and Katie met junior year of high school. While they were close then, life happened and years went by before reconnecting when they randomly both ended up in southern California at the same time. After exchanging a few Instagram messages, they ended up getting together in West Hollywood one weekend and the rest was history. Katie's favorite memory with Carly is celebrating their 25th birthday together in Las Vegas! In recent events, she enjoyed visiting Carly when she was living in Roseville - catching up with a glass of wine and reminiscing on their high school and LA days, all while watching Carly be an amazing mom.
Charlie Harrold

When he's not constructing a Lego set for ages 8 and up, you can find Charlie reading a book or playing with his baby brother Rory. While only 5, he LOVES a good party and taking over the dance floor. He'll no doubt be showing off his signature moves at the wedding!
Kayla Woodward
Bridesmaid & Middle School Bestie
Kayla and Carly Met on Myspace in 2006. The two lived one town over from each other but connected via mutual friends. Kayla would spend long weekends over at Carly's house and it was hard to tear the two apart. They reconnected in 2017 when they were both pregnant with their first boys. Together, they spoke constantly throughout their pregnancies and connected on a newly maternal level. Their baby boys were only a few months apart. Kayla showed Carly the ropes when it came to being a new mom, and Carly got to exchange the favor when Kayla had her newest baby in 2023 (seriously though, you forget a LOT when you have your kids 5 years apart!)
Adam Baratta

Adam is James's brother-in-law and they have bonded from day one of their introduction from Charlotte. Adam oozes charm and charisma, with an ever flowing radiance of positive energy. Adam has guided Carly and James through both of their careers at Advantage Gold and are forever grateful for the doors he has opened for them. They are also so grateful for opening his home and having the BEST wedding venue in Philly!
Lexie Rosendin

Lexie and Carly met while Lexie was attending Loyola Marymount University. Carly just moved to the area and didn't have many friends, so she downloaded the app "Bumble BFF" where she found Lexie and they both swiped right! When they first met up, Lexie suggested a nearby Mexican restaurant "Sol". What they thought was just sharing their mutual love for chips, salsa and jumbo margaritas, turned out to be the start of a lifelong friendship. Lexie's favorite memory is going to State Social for 90’s night in their early 20s. Carly's favorite memory is playing matchmaker at Charlie's 1st birthday party where she introduced Lexie and Ned, who are now planned to be wed in June 2023.

Ned and James met while they were both living in LA. They have always connected on being grounded individuals and being up for a great time! Ned is a smooth operator who can make anyone laugh and lighten up the mood. He has been there since the beginning of Carly and James's relationship, and it even led him to finding Lexie (his now WIFE and Carly's bridesmaid!) through our friendship circle.
Stefanie Katz

Stefanie and Carly met in Santa Monica while attending two separate company holiday parties in the penthouse at the Huxley. Stefanie complimented Carly's dress and they took a few mirror selfies together. They chatted for awhile but then went their separate ways. A few months later, Stefanie was browsing the NextDoor app and saw that Carly recently joined her neighborhood. She reached out to see if that was the same girl she took selfies with - and it was! Soon after, they were always together, whether it be frequent trips to Trader Joe's and Starbucks or evenings in with White Claws and reality TV.
Luke Conard

Luke and James have been friends for almost a decade now! They first met back in LA when James moved to LA through a mutual friend. Their friendship started with their love of music, and together they made a number of YouTube videos over the years living in LA. As time went on, the realized they had a lot in common! They were even room mates at one point when James rented a room from Luke at his house! James's favorite memory is travelling down to Costa Rica on a whim with their friend Jon for a 10 day trip and hope for many more adventures together in the years to come.
Stephanie Frings

Stephanie first met Carly when Carly came in for an interview at Advantage Gold. They instantly clicked and Stephanie hired her on the spot! She immediately went to her colleague Chelsey saying “I love her for the job, and even more I think we could be really good friends!" One of Stephanie's favorite memories with Carly is when they went to the Santa Monica Pier Concert on the Beach, didn't have a way home, got stranded, and their only way outta there was ONE bike. They somehow fit 3 people on a the bike and made it home. It is still a mystery to this day how that actually worked out.
Tony Hayes

Tony, aka Big Tone, was the first friend James made when he first moved to the USA. James saw Tony warming up before a golf round and introduced himself to go out on the course together. It was love at first swing, and as they discovered more about each other they were so surprised to know how much they had in common! Since then Tony and James have been solid pals and continue to hit the links or dominate any beer pong game they are challenged with.

Ashley and Carly met when Carly was 6 months pregnant with her first born, Charlie. Ashley was hired at Advantage Gold to replace Carly, and the few months they had working together in person were some of the greatest! Soon after Covid hit, Carly and Ashley found themselves in the same position: going back to work (remotely) with kids at home! 6 years later, they are back to working together in the same department at the same company. Carly's favorite memory with Ashley is when Carly would host dinner parties and they would talk all night about nothing and everything. She has loved watching Ashley become the amazing mother that she is!
Ivan Power-Kronick

The day James met Tony, Tony invited James out for a night of drinking and general debauchery...and it was that night James and Ivan met! Skeptical at first how James had randomly introduced himself to Tony, it didn't take long for the two to become great pals. James has Ivan to thank for not just 1, but 2 jobs while they were living in LA! Their first was 'Wisecrack', a YouTube media outlet, followed up by Defy Media. It was here they spent most lunch breaks testing the local food spots while planning their weekend drinking arrangements! Now they are both Dads and seemingly career professionals, those days are behind them, but they will always have a close place in James's best memories living out his 20s in LA!

Chelsey met Carly after Stephanie introduced them at Carly's initial interview at Advantage Gold. After hiring her for the job, they bonded over their love for dogs, wine, and the Bachelor franchise. Chelsey was completely unaware that hiring Carly would be the catalyst into meeting the love of her life, but she's so glad she did. Chelsey's favorite memory with Carly is when Carly flew out to Texas and got to see her day-to-day life. Carly's favorite memory with Chelsey is when they both went to Vegas and Chelsey basically took over mom duties to Carly's son Rory.
Maxwell Wrye

Max and James met about 8 years ago through Luke and their mutual friend Alex Goot. At the time, James was writing and recording music, and sought the producing talent of Max for a number of original recordings! They also made and produced YouTube videos with Alex and Luke, always having a great time making them and being creative. James and Carly are also so thankful to Max for lending his videography skills for our big day. So if you see a drone flying over head, don't worry, Max is a good pilot!
Candace Davis

Carly's favorite memory with her mom is when she got Candace's name tattooed on her ribs. She walked into her room and showed her. Immediately, Candace's reaction was "OMG! Is that going to wash off??!" Spoiler alert: it hasn't washed off. Carly is so delighted to have her mom walk her down the aisle on her special day.

Niece of the groom. She loves bunnies, her family and dance parties! This little ball of joy has been stealing hearts since the second she came into the world. Gigi is undoubtedly our favorite little girl and we are so excited to have her be a part of our special day!
