It was the summer of 2016. James had been in LA for about 2 years, and Carly had just moved down from Sacramento to start a new chapter in her life. Applying for jobs, she stumbled upon an advertisement for a receptionist job at a gold company. She applied and interviewed for it, and got hired the same day. That company happened to be Advantage Gold, the company Adam had co-founded! A few months went by, and James had never visited Adam at the office before. As he walked in, he was greeted by a wide-eyed girl from Northern California...Carly! After a quick talk, it was clear there was a spark, and after meeting at the office James and Carly become friends on Facebook. They messaged, exchanged numbers, and FINALLY James asked Carly out for a few drinks at the Everleigh on Sunset Blvd. After their first date, it quickly turned to a second...and a third..until they were officially dating. 2 kids and a wedding later, the rest, they say, is history!
