Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge
One of our favorite places! James buys Caitlyn an annual pass every year for her birthday. It's one of the only refugees in the USA that you can drive-through. Some animals we've seen here: Short-Eared Owls, Bald Eagles, American Kestrels, Great Horned Owl, Foxes, and lots of Deer!
Salmon Creek Greenway Trail
One of our favorite places to go walking! Nice and flat with lots of benches and ponds to stop at. Ask us where to park for free!
Washington State University Vancouver
The couple's university. It's a beautiful campus with great views and lots of trails.
Multnomah Falls
One of the first tourist-ey things we did after moving up here, but be aware you will need to purchase tickets so planning ahead is best!
Eastwind Drive-In
We ate here when visiting the venue for the first time! We love little burger places and had to make a stop here. Fun fact: They also have the special flavor burst soft serve that Caitlyn and her mom used to get down in Ocean Beach!
Bridge of the Gods
A famous bridge (toll required to cross). Don't worry you'll see it during the wedding ceremony!
Skamania Lodge
Very nice lodge with different activities such as golf.
Sugarpine Drive-In
Popular spot to stop by on your way to and from the gorge!
Mountain Timber Market
We went here once when we were housesitting in Kalama, it's a super cute mini pikes place. Also, for you twilight fans there's a filming location nearby.
