Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Formal/Black Tie optional. We are requesting that guests please wear ALL BLACK. Yes, that includes accessories like socks. If you don't stick to the dress code, you WILL be asked to leave to change. We have a formal dress code which means: Long dresses, jumpsuits, or formal dress jackets/suits. Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors while the reception will take place indoors.

When does the wedding reception end?

We plan on making our grand exit around 9:30-10pm so please stick around if you can!

I'm flying into PDX, How do I get to cascade locks?

Answer

There are many ways to get from PDX to Cascade Locks. You can get an uber/lyft or a taxi. There is also a bus that goes from Portland to Cascade Locks: https://www.ridecatbus.org/columbia-gorge-express/ . Please note you will need to arrange your own ride to and from the airport and venue.

Do you have any special rules around technology?

Answer

Yes. We will be having an UNPLUGGED CEREMONY. This means no phones, tablets, or other cameras, etc.. present during the ceremony. We understand people are excited and want to take pictures, but we are spending a lot of money on a photographer who will be working hard to capture the day for us. If you want a specific shot, we will be more than happy to share it with you when we get our album!

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Gifts not required. Check our registry for ideas or to contribute to our honeymoon fund.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only if your invitation specifically states "and guest" or includes their name. If it's just your name, it's meant for you only. If you are traveling from out of town, please feel free to bring your significant other, but due to capacity constraints, they won't be able to attend the wedding. However, we'd love to meet up for a meal if time allows!
