Megan and Amanda met in Nursing school. They spent many days together studying and dealing with the stress of nursing school. Their friendship grew stronger and eventually turned into more than just nursing school friends and into best friends. Megan and Amanda still talk every day even though they live more than 6 thousand miles away. Our friendship grew over long nights of “Girl Talks” over wine and pizza. Amanda is forever grateful to have a friend like Megan in her life and someone to call her best friend. Megan helped Amanda pick out her wedding dress which you will see very soon!

Amanda and Megan met a long time ago and shared their love for horses. They met at Dun-pikin farm in Pasadena MD. The first memory Amanda has of Megan was when she got to ride Megan’s beloved pony Strudel. Originally Megan was not thrilled with her pony being ridden by some foreign girl but after a few conversations they found they had a lot in common and were instantly best friends and connected at the hip. Amanda and Megan have a friendship that will last a lifetime and have always been there for each other even with the distance of Amanda living in Hawaii. Amanda and Megan spent many vacations, family parties, college parties, weddings, and long girl’s nights together and have many memories to share. Amanda and Megan always joke about growing old together and sitting in their rockers.

Danielle Seay

Amanda and Danielle met in nursing school. Sharing a love for always wanting to know the “right answer” on tests and constant research to find that answer, driving some people a little insane while doing it. We had our first day as “baby nurses” together in a nursing home and both laugh about how Danielle gave her first bed bath to a spicy 90 something year old woman. They have spent many girls nights catching up over strawberitas and blaring loud music in the kitchen while dancing and taking selfies! Amanda cherishes Danielles wisdom and ability to memorize literally everything even addresses and social security numbers 😅 but mostly all the fun memories they share.

Kristen Gary

Amanda and Kristen met years ago working at the hospital together. Working night shift left them with a lot of time on their hands to talk about life and get to know each other. They became the dream team at CPR, one night they had two codes where they did CPR for almost 2 hours. If THAT didn’t bring someone close together nothing could. They went out a few times together & quickly became best friends. Kristen was the first to know about JP & Amandas BIG move to Hawaii. Their friendship grew as they gave each other life advice and supported each other through big life challenges. Looking back Amanda can think of all the times Kristen has been there for her, supported her, gave her advice, &memories the two of them shared. Kristen is a blast to hang out with & always keeps Amanda laughing

Kaelynn is James’ niece! She’s a very caring, fun, and a beautiful young lady. Full of sass and smiles for days. We needed some extra spice in our wedding and immediately thought of her! Kaelynn is even agreeing to wear a dress for our wedding day! ❤️

Chris Herzog

Best Man

Chris is JP’s older brother, the one and only. Growing up he was the typical older brother...you know, beating up and torturing his little brother, protecting him from anyone else that wanted to, sneaking in horror movies that his parents would never let JP watch. They are always there for each other no matter what and that’s why he’ll be there right next to JP at the wedding. He’s JPs brother, best friend, and all in all favorite person.... other than his soon to be beautiful wife.

Matt Morsberger

Matt is JP’s Best friend. They met once upon a time sitting on the back of a truck in front of their friends house with a few friends and... Matt knows the rest of that story. After that they hung out all the time. It’s been about 15 years and they don’t go without at least talking every couple days. There’s nothing they both don’t know about each other. No matter what happens Matt is always willing help anyone, make them laugh, or just be there for them.

Chris is JP’s oldest friend. They used to hate each other since Chris went to Severna Park and JP went to Magothy Middle, everybody that went to those middle schools knows the craziness. After that their parents ended up moving to the same base in England and they became friends. The rest is history. If you ever ask they will both tell you that they are brothers. Which used to be a great ice breaker. He’s adventurous, fun, and would help anyone in need. If you’ve never met him, you should say hi.

Have you ever heard the song Hawaiian Superman? That’s Raven! Raven is one of the first people that JP met when he moved to Hawaii. Right when they met they became great friends. They have always been there for each other and to this day if one of them needed help on the other side of the world the other would book a flight the next day. Raven it’s one of the friendliest, most caring, and absolutely fun person you’ll ever meet. If you’re having a bad day, he’s the one that turns it around in minutes. He’s one of JPs greatest friends.

JP and Tyler met through Chris Dumas. Right when they met they had each other’s back, they both know the stories. Tyler is an amazing friend that speaks to JP on a regular basis just to make sure he’s doing ok. It’s been over a decade since they met and they always have time for each other. Tyler is fun, successful, and an all around amazing person. If you’ve never met him, you should... trust me, he’s a great guy to know.
