PVR is the airport for Puerto Vallarta. Delta, American, Southwest & Alaska all fly LAX - PVR nonstop. Once you land, make sure to go all the way to the front to grab a taxi or car service. Also, stop at the bar outside the airport for a margarita to take on the ride!

Casa Kimberly

If you are looking for a more romantic and secluded stay, we recommend Casa Kimberly. This hotel has been constructed out of the side by side houses of Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton, who used to escape to PV on romantic trysts. Burton arranged for Liz to stay in Casa Kimberly, directly across the street from his own casita. He built a bridge connecting the two—and gave Casa Kimberly to Taylor for her 32nd birthday in 1964. In 2010, Casa Kimberly was exquisitely renovated and reimagined. The pink marble heart-shaped tub commissioned by Liz, the lozenge-shape pool she and Burton both swam in, and the famous bridge known as the Puente del Amor have all been restored to their former glory.
