do you think we would drag all of you down there if it was? No, it's perfectly safe! There are zero U.S. or Canadian citizens who have been victims of drug cartel violence in Puerto Vallarta. The actual crime rates in Puerto Vallarta are very low, significantly lower than those of major tourist cities in the United States like Miami, Las Vegas, and New Orleans for example. Just be smart -- don't walk alone late at night, and take uber.
the Shark Tank is a pair of white rooms full of timeshare sales representatives, and if you have any doubt regarding whether you’re in the tank or not you’ll know immediately when the reps begin aggressively approaching you. The best thing you can do here is to talk to no one and continue walking till you make it to the cab line outside.
Part of the reason we loved PV so much is the culture and food. While staying at an all inclusive is great, we prefer to eat outside the hotels and explore the city at night. We don't think you can go wrong with an all inclusive, it is all about preference and what you are looking for on your holiday!
We don't recommend staying in those areas for our wedding. While we love Nuevo and Punta Mita as well, they are a tad far from where the events will be, and it is hard to get in and out of the city from those destinations.
There is a 1 boat each way. if you miss the boat, you miss the wedding. It departs at 4:30 PM from the marina, and will leave from Las Caletas at 10:30 PM. Unfortunately, these are the only boats to and from the venue.
