Covenant Bay's Address is 15022 Poplar Bay, Westerose, AB T0C 2V0, Canada. When you arrive, parking is available in the designated parking areas on the map (parking is noted by 'P'), avoiding blocking the traffic in and out of the camp, or boxing other cars in. If Parking is full: after 1pm, you can park south of the quonset, through the path between the chapel and the washrooms (please drive slow to avoid tearing up the grass).
The wedding will be a limited-alcohol event on saturday. We are very fortunate that the venue is allowing us to have a limited selection of cocktails (beers, cider, vodka soda, etc.) to have at cocktail hour and the reception. This means that when they are out, they are out. There will still be a selection of soft drinks, and an Italian Soda bar for you to enjoy :)
There are no designated start-times for activities, so drop-in and participate as you wish. Sports: beach volleyball Activities/Lawn Games: 9-square, gaga ball, box hockey, board games, ladder golf, corn hole, bocce, tetris tumble, large connect four, bucket golf, and more! Arts & Crafts: Bracelet/keychain making, and a felt flag station All equipment will be provided for you :)
Right after the ceremony, please stay nearby for photos in the following order: 1. Photos with Guests/Close Friends 2. Photos with Immediate + Extended Family (by blood or through marriage) 3. Photos with Immediate Family After you get your photos taken, you are free to enjoy a drink (or two), and participate in lawn games, and crafts.
After the ceremony and before the reception, all the same field day activities (lawn games and arts & crafts) are available for you to participate in.
The only meal provided for Day Guests (those staying offsite) will be the Saturday Reception dinner. While we’ll have some snacks and treats for everyone throughout the weekend, the listed mealtimes in the itinerary (other than Saturday Dinner) are reserved for overnight guests (or offsite guests who have arranged and paid for meals). Please don’t join in on those meals unless you have paid to have your meals at the camp- this ensures that every paying guest has a seat and a plate. If you are coming up for the day and are going to participate in the Field Day before the ceremony and reception, there is plenty of space for you to get ready/ freshen up on the grounds. There is a washroom across from the dining hall, and there are a few conference rooms in the lodge for you to get changed.
