Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Adrianna Bloom and James Pogorzelski
There are so many amazing neighborhoods and spots in the city, but below we have focused on the West Village as one of our favorite neighborhoods we visit almost every weekend. Shops, restaurants, bars, parks, there is so much to do within a 10-block radius! Don't worry, we included some local NJ spots as well!

Easiest/Cheapest way into NYC

90 Pavonia Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07310

The Newport PATH station is the easiest and cheapest way into NYC. The station is less than a 5min walk from both of our hotel recommendations, tickets cost $3 per person, and the train will bring you into the West Village as the first stop - up to 33rd street in Mid-Town located by Bryant Park as the last stop.

Popup Bagels

177 Thompson Street, New York, NY 10012

The best bagels in the city! Eat them fresh! Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 4-blocks east and 7-blocks south.

Breakfast by Salt's Cure

27 1/2 Morton Street, New York, NY 10014

THE BEST breakfast spot in the city. Arrive early, the line gets long! Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 1-block east and 4-blocks south.

Fiaschetteria “Pistoia”

114 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014

One of the best pasta restaurants in the West Village, they do not take reservations so last minute seating is always available. Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 1-block east.

John's of Bleecker Street

278 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10014

NOT Bleecker Street, John's of Bleecker Street, the best pizza in the West Village (controversial). Brick-oven pies (no slices) but a 9.3 on the one-bite app! Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 3-blocks east and 3-blocks south.

Smalls Jazz Club

183 West 10th Street, New York, NY 10014

A historic jazz club in the West Village, Smalls hosts some of the best musicians for an evening of great fun. Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 3-blocks east and 1-block north.

Comedy Cellar

117 MacDougal Street, New York, NY 10012

Great comedy club, you can reserve tickets online or stand in line for the last-minute cancelations. Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 4-blocks east and 5-blocks south.

Employees Only

510 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014

Great cozy classic NYC bar for fun cocktails. Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 1-block east.

Cellar Dog

75 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014

Cellar Dog is a great bar to play pool/ping-pong/bar shuffle board and listen to live music. Great for those who want an activity later at night. Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 3-blocks east.

The Garret

296 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10014

A great bar to experience a true speak-easy vibe in the West Village. Take the PATH at Newport to the Christopher Street station and walk 3-blocks east and 2-blocks south.
