Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding is taking place at Battello on the Jersey City waterfront overlooking the Manhattan skyline. All wedding events (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) will be taking place at the same location. Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our Wedding is Black-Tie Preferred: Floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, and tuxes with black neckties or bowties are preferred, but not required. Otherwise, please dress in formal attire.

Please visit our "Registry" page on our website. As we look forward to celebrating our wedding with you, we realize we have many of the physical possessions we need to start our lives together. What we want most of all is to create memorable experiences on our honeymoon. You can help us by contributing toward our dream trip to Asia. Although we love your little ones, this is an adults only affair.

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that you please attend based on the names provided on your invitation.

Which hotel is the best to book?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at two hotels: The Westin Jersey City and The DoubleTree Jersey City. These are the closest proximity hotels to the wedding day events. Please see the "Travel" section of our website for additional details.

Are there parking accommodations?

Answer

Parking is available on the Battello pier but will be limited to 32 spots for guests and vendors. If valet is preferred, please park at the Westin across the street from the venue. We also encourage guests to park at the Westin parking garage.

Will there be a shuttle service?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle service to our venue. All of the hotels where we have confirmed room blocks have parking on premises for guests, and are within a 5-7 minute walking distance of Battello. If walking is not preferred, or you are staying elsewhere, we recommend using Uber or Lyft for transportation.

How do I communicate a food allergy?

Answer

Battello is a full-service restaurant. During dinner service, the wait staff will ask guests at each table before placing orders and can accommodate allergies & dietary restrictions with options beyond the main menu.
