Can I fly into Santa Barbara directly?

Answer

Yes, the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) will be your most convenient airport option. However, flight prices can fluctuate and get quite expensive. If you don't want to fly into SBA (although this is our recommendation), another option for you to consider is flying into Los Angeles Airport (LAX) and taking the Santa Barbara Air Bus (https://www.sbairbus.com) — which you can board at LAX. The Airbus takes approximately 2 hours to travel between LAX and Santa Barbara. If you choose to take the Airbus from LAX, be sure to reserve a seat on the Airbus prior to flying into LAX.

Where should I stay during my trip?

Answer

Santa Barbara has a number of hotels, but prices can be quite expensive. It is best to book early. In addition to Santa Barbara, we recommend checking hotel prices in Goleta and Carpinteria. Ventura and Los Olivos are two other options you might consider, but both are roughly 45 minutes from Santa Barbara. If you're coming with a group, booking an AirBnB might be more cost-effective. We have provided a few hotel suggestions under the "Travel" tab for your consideration.

We encourage everyone to be comfortable and embrace the casual beach vibes of Santa Barbara. Whether you’re in a sundress, linen shirt, or trousers, we just want to celebrate the day with you. Please note that Santa Barbara can get quite cool in the evenings, so be sure to bring layers. A sweater or light jacket (or both) will ensure you're comfortable as the night unfolds.
