Things To Do

There's lots to do in Portland! Here are some of our favorite activities for you to check out while you are in town!
Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls

OR 97014

This is a great hike for all ages! The up-and-back hike features the tallest waterfall in Oregon, as well the most amazing drive up the scenic Gorge.

Deschutes Brewery Portland Public House

210 Northwest 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209
, (503) 296-4906

This places brews Jimmy’s favorite beers - the Black Butte Porter and the Fresh Sqeezed IPA. Great food too!

Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chai

4759 Northeast Fremont Street, Portland, OR 97213
, (503) 206-8692

Everyone tells you to go to Voodoo Donuts, but this is the low-key best donuts in town.

Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach, OR

This is a classic stop for any trip to Oregon. Haystack Rock features some amazing tide pools and is perfect for those "long walks on the beach". Mosey in to town for some great seafood and clam chowder at Moe's.

Durant at Red Ridge Farms

Durant at Red Ridge Farms

5510 Northeast Breyman Orchards Road, Dayton, OR 97114
, (503) 864-2000

This is where Jimmy proposed! The wine is phenomenal, so be sure to make a reservation!

Council Crest Park

1120 Southwest Council Crest Drive, Portland, OR 97239
, (503) 823-7529

This is the highest point in the city and has great views of all the mountains. This is one of the parks close to Kylee's apartment, and Kylee took Jimmy here on his first trip to Portland!

Schilling Cider House Portland

930 Southeast 10th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214
, (971) 352-6109

This one of our frequented spots in Portland! They have over 50 ciders on tap for all flavor palates. We would recommend the cider flight!

Oregon Zoo

Oregon Zoo

4001 Southwest Canyon Road, Portland, OR 97221
, (503) 226-1561

We went to Zoolights here the first winter that we dated, but it is also super fun in the summer! The elephants are so cool.

Angels Rest

Angels Rest

OR 97019

This is a medium-difficulty hike but with a great view! It's about 4.5 miles, with a bit of a rock scramble, so budget about 4-5 hours. Taking some snacks to the summit would make for a scenic lunch!

BIKETOWN

1028 Southeast Water Avenue, Portland, OR 97214
, (866) 512-2453

Bikes are one of the best ways to get around Portland! You can access the bikes online at the website and pick them up all across town. There is a super fun loop around the waterfront and across the Portland bridges.
