One of Bodos Bagels three locations are a must anytime you are in Charlottesville! James loves the pastrami, while Kimberly normally gets an egg and cheese.
Carter Mountain Orchard
Brave the drive up the mountain to enjoy a farmer's market, orchard, and Bold Rock Hard Cider tasting room overlooking the city. Nearby find Michie's Tavern and Thomas Jefferson's Monticello home.

Shenandoah National Park
Feeling adventurous? Head 30 minutes west on I-64 to the Rockfish Gap Entrance station and enter Shenandoah National Park! Note: There's an entrance fee of $30 per car to enter. For a free scenic drive, instead go south and explore the Blue Ridge Parkway. James and Kimberly recommend hiking Turk Mountain or Chimney Rock if you want to stay in the southern part of the park.
