Asha Pittman will be Marisa's maid of honor. Asha and Marisa met while attending the real GSU, Georgia State University, in 2009. Asha is a successful real estate agent in Atlanta. With over a decade of friendship she can't wait to stand by Marisa's side on the big day.

Tahira is Jamal’s older sister aka second mom! She has always protected Jamal and gave him tough love, especially when they were younger. As they grew older she would give him sisterly advice that he would never listen to! When Tahira met Marisa, she knew Jamal and Marisa were just right for each other. She is ecstatic about their engagement and can’t wait to acquire her as a sister.

Grace couldn't be happier to be a part of her God sister's special day. Grace lives and works in NYC, as a High School principal. When she isn't running marathons, she is traveling the world. She cannot wait celebrate Marisa with family and friends
Julian Hampton

Julian Hampton is a young professional residing in Tampa, Florida. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, he moved to Florida in 2006 to pursue an undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 2010. It was during the first week of classes at UMiami where he met Jamal, and as fate would have it, they would become fraternity brothers during their school days. Julian's fields of expertise include online marketing, business management, and retail sales. He migrated to Tampa in 2015 where he is currently a wellness coach, still enjoying the Florida sunshine.
David Anthony Rauceo-Walters
Best Man
David was born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York to Jamaican and Trinidadian parents in May of 1988. He attended the University of Miami where he met Jamal in Mahoney Residential College. David is currently living in Miami, FL and working within the Financial Services sector. He is passionate about cars and anything with a motor and wheels, particularly Ducati brand motorcycles. David has a love of traveling to new places and has been to many countries throughout the world. He took up Salsa dancing about six years ago which is how he met his beautiful girlfriend who he is madly in love with. He is also a fan of various music genres including: Hip Hop, Caribbean Soca/Reggae/Dancehall, EDM, R&B, Salsa, and Bachata. You’ll see him on the dancefloor in one way or another.
Jarvarus Gresham

Born and raised in Southwest Atlanta, Jarvarus prides himself on being an “ATLien” to his core. Jarvarus is Jamal’s cousin and fellow Ace-club, but from a better fraternity. 06! Jarvarus is an attorney, primarily focusing his time on counseling and defending sports teams and healthcare systems. Prior to attending GSU Law, Jarvarus attended The University of Florida. While at UF, he pledged The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. At UF, Jarvarus also attended several Gator football and basketball games, many leading to National Championships within the last 15 years. *Shade thrown. Go Gators! Jarvarus enjoys traveling, eating, and spending time with family and is extremely proud of and excited for Jamal and Marisa.
Christian Gillies

Christian is Marisa's younger brother, and the guy you’ll know for his different hairstyles and eccentric fashion sense. Christian is five years apart from Marisa. Marisa always calls Christian her "baby brother" even when he turns eighty years old. Christian is extremely happy that Jamal is joining the family and welcome him like a brother.
