Before we share our love story, we would like to thank y’all for helping make our dream come true. These past few years have been a great by planning the next chapter in our lives together. As few of you may know, Jamal and Lexi have traveled the world together and got to know each other cultures. It is our deepest pleasure and blessing that we contribute a Thai culture ceremony from Lexi’s side of the family but also join Jamal family’s culture as well during the reception of our wedding night. We as a couple have explore many cultures and want to bring closer to both families. During our pandemic time in 2020, Lexi have pinned many restaurants and attractions to do in Atlanta and would love to share it with y’all.

Lexi and Jamal's relationship started as friends during their involvement in the co-ed fraternity, Alpha Psi Lambda. Although they were from different parts of the country through the years, they bonded over their shared passion for leadership and community involvement. Over two years, they became close friends and eventually best friends, sharing laughs and adventures. In 2018, Jamal invited Lexi and their closest friends to his graduation party. Little did they know that this party would be a turning point in their relationship. When Lexi arrived at the party, she was the first to meet Jamal's family. They all went out to a Mexican restaurant, where she had the pleasure of getting to know his family. His family was such a caring, loving, and welcoming group of people. After the party, Jamal's family offered her a place to stay for the night. Even though they were just friends at the time, his family knew that they were meant to be together before Jamal and Lexi did! Over time, they realized that they had developed romantic feelings for each other, and the rest is history. Their love story has been a journey of ups and downs, challenges and triumphs, but through it all, they have grown stronger together. When Jamal got offered a full-time job on the cruise line, they knew that long distance was going to be tough, but they were determined to make it work. Despite the time difference and distance, they made sure to stay in touch and keep the flame of their relationship burning bright. In 2019, Lexi had the chance to join Jamal on the cruise line, and they explored amazing places together. They saw the beautiful beaches of Hawaii, the stunning scenery of Bora Bora, and the vibrant culture of Mexico. As they continued to travel, they made even more unforgettable memories, from riding rollercoasters at Shanghai Disneyland to tasting authentic Thai food in Thailand. Unfortunately, COVID put their traveling dreams on hold, but it also brought them even closer together. They had to rely on each other during the uncertainty of the pandemic, and they grew even more in love. They moved around a lot and didn't have a permanent home, but they made the most of it by spending time with their families and bonding over their favorite TV shows. In December 2021, Jamal took Lexi to his hometown of Los Angeles for the first time where she eagerly explored the place where he grew up. They spent New Year's Eve at his aunt's house, where Jamal surprised Lexi with a proposal at the stroke of midnight. Overjoyed, Lexi said yes to her best friend and was amazed at how he managed to keep the engagement a secret. Their engagement was a dream come true. They are so excited to continue their journey as partners for life, and they can't wait to see what the future holds. Their love story is a testament to the power of friendship, family, and love. They are so grateful for each other and for the support of their loved ones. They can't wait to celebrate their special day with you!
