Flight

Philadelphia International Airport

About a 30 minute drive (Uber, Lyft, or taxi) to the hotel in Old City. Our recommendation is to check the rate on Uber and Lyft to see who has the best rate (they can fluctuate wildly, sometimes low $20's and mid $60's others) and how soon they can get to you. Alternatively, cabs do run to hotel for a fixed rate of $28.50 for the first passenger + $1 for each additional passenger. Tell them that you want the flat rate when you get in and DON'T let them try and run the meter on you. They are also required to take credit cards, so if they tell you that the machine is broken and can only take cash, insist on using a card if that is your preference.

Train

Amtrak - 30th Street Station

If you live on an Amtrak route, we recommend taking the train to 30th Street Station. It's about a 15 minute car ride (Uber, Lyft, or taxi) to Old City. If you cab it, the driver should take you down Market (you'll get a good view of City Hall this way) or I-676. Alternatively, you can take SEPTA's Market-Frankfort Line. This is more affordable approach, just more cumbersome and would require a little walking between the SEPTA station and the hotel.
