FAQs

Feel free to contact Jason or Elizabeth with any questions you may have.
Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Lafayette Hotel around the pool and we can add more rooms based on demand. Go to the travel section, click on the link and book your room ASAP at a discounted rate. Please join us for a huge sleepover.

Question

If I want to party harder and come before Friday or leave after Sunday, can I?

Answer

Let us know if you plan to come before Friday the 17th or stay after Sunday the 19th, so that we can help arrange the discounted rates for you with the hotel. You can also contact Cinthia at (619)780-0362 during normal business hours and she will be able to assist you. Just make sure that you mention the "hoko block" code when you do so.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Parking the day of the ceremony is free. Overnight parking is $18. The ceremony and reception are at the same location, so you will not need to drive at all on Saturday 9/18.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:30pm sharp. If you are chronically late, forget the previously mentioned time. It starts at 3pm *wink wink*

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you aren't married, engaged, living together, or specifically provided a plus one, please don't bring a date. We are already extremely limited in space. Also, we are doing a plated dinner so they would have to stand there hungry. Make some friends at the wedding. We only have cool people in our lives.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Only for relatives.

Question

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Nope. Sorry. We love your furry family, but the hotel does not allow them.

Question

Will there be an open bar at the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail hour is all you can drink wine, beer and signature cocktails, so drink up. For all intents and purposes, the reception will be an open bar with wine, beer and cocktails. However, if you feel like ripping shots, we highly recommend stocking your room with your favorite hard alcohol as it will at the same place as the reception.

Question

Will there be vegan options?

Answer

The only plant-based food at our wedding will be the floral arrangements.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No need to bust out your finest tuxedo or ball gown (unless you want to), but do what you can to look PURDY for us. We promise to do the same for you :)
