Things To Do
We hope you’ll take the time to explore our favorite city while you’re in town! Here are some must-do activities. Below we’ve listed recommendations for coffee and brunch to fuel up before the wedding events.
- The Bean! Also known as Cloud Gate, this is the famous sculpture in Millennium Park.
- Architecture Boat Tour: An awesome historical lesson, beautiful views, and a trip on a boat!
- River Walk: views along the river, and a couple of places to stop and sit or drink or eat.
- Lake pedestrian path & Montrose Beach: most people don't realize Chicago is practically on an ocean (beaches, waterfront jogging/biking path, a wildflower garden, etc.). Rent a bike or take a walk and soak in some water views!
- Lincoln Park Zoo: it is an absolute national treasure that Chicago has a free Zoo. Yes, FREE! Go see some Zebras!
- Wrigley/Cubs game: go to a game, tour, or concert, or just explore the neighborhood (a really fun area full of sportsbars, some with batting cages!)
