FAQs

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place, and are they indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held indoors at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Miami, and our reception will be held outdoors at the Ancient Spanish Monastery.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 2:30pm so everyone can be seated. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm, and late arrivals unfortunately cannot be admitted once it has started.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, both the Cathedral of St. Mary in Miami and the Ancient Spanish Monastery have on-site parking available for guests.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! Buses will be available to transport guests from the hotels where we have room blocks reserved to the ceremony and then on to the reception, so everyone can relax and enjoy the day.

Question

Where should I stay for the weekend?

Answer

Please visit our "Travel" tab for information on the hotels where we have reserved room blocks.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire for our wedding. For men, this means a suit and tie or tuxedo with dress shoes. For women, a floor-length or midi dress with dressy shoes is perfect. We respectfully ask that guests avoid white or shades of white, such as ivory, cream, or off-white (champagne is welcome).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st using the RSVP tab on our website. Formal invitations will follow, but feel free to respond anytime once you receive your Save the Date!
