Question

How is transportation going to work?

Answer

We know some people are renting cars, which is great! Otherwise, we're mostly planning to get around via Uber and Lyft, which should be easily enough available. For more specific details for each event: Dogpatch Games (Friday night) - You will need to cross the Bay Bridge to get into the city, where there will be an $8 bridge toll coming in. Traffic can be a little rough but this is Kendall's usual Friday evening commute so it's manageable! - Street parking immediately surrounding Dogpatch Games usually has a few spots open but may be patchy. If you have issues within a block of the game store, there should be ample metered street parking a few blocks away near the 22nd St Caltrain station (707 Iowa Street would take you to the right place). - If you're feeling adventurous you can BART to Powell St Station and then take MUNI T line to Dogpatch. But it's probably not worth it. Roberts Regional - There's a fairly large parking lot, that we're hoping does not fill up in the winter! Parking is $5 per vehicle and payable with card. - Uber/Lyft also should be fine here. Grand Lake Kitchen - We did not buy out the parking lot, but there should be parking available at 3408 Dimond Ave. - Uber/Lyft between the two should also work.

Question

Is there anything I need to bring?

Answer

Bring your rock for the ceremony!

Question

Can we talk about the elephant in the room......

Answer

We know all Kendall has cancer (and that's why we're here a little sooner than planned on a cold December day!) We want our wedding day to be focused on our wedding, rather than the circumstances that brought us here. We don't need to ban the word "cancer", but for speeches, toasts, etc, we'd like to ask everyone to refrain from making that the focus.
