Flight

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

O'Hare is the larger of Chicago's two airports. If you fly into O'Hare, you can take the blue line CTA train right into the city for $5, and it takes about 45 minutes to get to the Loop (what we call our downtown area). From inside the airport, look for signs for the train. Take the Blue line train inbound toward Forest Park. Exit train at Clark/Lake. Short walk to both hotels. You can also call an Uber/Lyft at the airport. It takes approximately 25 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic, to get from O'Hare to the Loop and generally costs approximately $30-40.

Flight

Midway International Airport

Midway is Chicago's smaller airport and is home to all Southwest Airlines flights into & out of Chicago. If you fly in to Midway, you can take the CTA orange line train straight into the city. The train from the airport to any stops in to the city is $2.50, and it takes approximately 25-45 minutes to get to the Loop. Exit at Clark and Lake. Short walk to hotels. You can also call an Uber/Lyft which will be closer to $25-30, and it will take around 25-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Travel Note

Parking Downtown

If you want to park downtown at any point throughout the weekend, we recommend using the app Spot Hero. It is easy to use and allows you to see availability then reserve parking at a discounted rate anywhere in the Chicago area. You can book ahead of time or reserve spots within minutes. For more information about Spot Hero, visit their FAQ site here: https://spothero.com/faq/
