We met line dancing at Diamondback Music Hall, for any of Jake’s family/friends I know it’s surprising. There is line dancing most weekends and both of us went out with friends to have fun and listen to country music. For anyone who knows either of us, we both tend not to be the one to approach someone at a bar. Dani saw Jake and told her friend that she thought he was cute, Natalie responded saying “I know his friends, I’m gonna go see if he’s single.” When asked, Jake’s friend Mike responded with “Him? Yes!” We spent the rest of the night talking and dancing and quickly started spending every chance we could together.

We both love country and dream of calling Tennessee our home someday. We planned a week in Nashville for March 2026 and Jake knew it was the perfect place to propose. We spent a day visiting the waterfalls at Rock Island state park and after climbing to the bottom of one of the falls Jake popped the question. We were the only ones at this part of the falls and it was the most beautiful proposal that we could have imagined.
