Charlotte Douglas International Airport Please be aware that the airport is undergoing construction throughout the campus. This has caused delays in receiving baggage as well as getting through security. Please allow yourself some extra time.
The airport is 16 miles from the venue (approximately 25 minute drive). Depending on where you choose to stay, this time may fluctuate but I would expect a 20-25 minute drive.
The traffic has drastically increased over the years; expect heavier traffic during rush hour times and give yourself some extra time to get to where you are going - just in case!
The engagement photos were in Renaissance costumes, does that mean the wedding is themed??? Not necessarily, but you are more than welcome to wear your renaissance garb if you are so inclined. Otherwise, Cocktail Attire. This means slacks and button downs, suits, cocktail dresses, dressy rompers, etc. Baseball hats, jeans, sweatshirts & tshirts don't fit this vibe - but you do you.

As of now, we have not planned an official after party for Saturday night. If there is enough interest, we can look into hopping over to a bar after the reception ends to keep the party rolling!
We will be gathering at OMB (Olde Mecklenburg Brewery) on Sunday morning from 10:30-2(ish) for a casual brunch and hang out. Feel free to come through whenever works best for you! OMB is very close to the airport so it is the perfect stopping point on your way out of town!
