We know it sounds lame, but we promise it's not! Enjoy a perfect Chicago summer day on the river admiring our beautiful city and then grab a drink at the riverwalk afterwards!
Lake Michigan
Rent a divvy bike or grab your sneakers and walk along the lakefront for a quintessential Chicago day! You can even grab your bathing suit and picnic basket and enjoy a beach day!
Shop Shop Shop
Take a walk through the Gold Coast for some window shopping or head to Armitage for the cutest boutiques, like Art Effect and Lori's! Don't forget to stop at Alice & Wonder and commemorate your trip with some Chicago gear!
Lincoln Park Zoo
One of our favorite spots! Grab a cup of coffee and go through a walk through the zoo (sad news the camels are gone) and out to the nature boardwalk. Head over to the Honeycomb for some of the best views in the city!
Museum Campus
There are so many amazing museums in the city! Some of our faves include The Art Institute and The Field Museum, but you really can't go wrong!
Broadway In Chicago
Grab a bite to eat and then go see a show downtown! There is always something amazing playing!
Wrigley Field
Just because the Cubs are away doesn't mean you shouldn't stop by Wrigley! Grab your Cubs hat and a beer and go enjoy Wrigleyville

Rose Mary in West Loop: Our first "real" Chicago date Sushi San in River North & Lincoln Park: One of our many Covid sushi take-out spots Pequod's Pizza in Lincoln Park: Jake's late night delivery option when he would come to visit Morgan Esencia Urban Kitchen in Lake View: Morgan's favorite breakfast spot, which then became Jake's favorite breakfast spot The Weiner Circle in Lincoln Park.: In case you need a Chicago dog and some insane cheese fries Margie's Candies in Bucktown: For the very best peppermint ice cream with hot fudge you will ever have! Trust! Lottie's Pub in Bucktown: A classic bar where we celebrated the night away with all our favorite people when we got engaged! And don't forget to buy a hat!
