We met on hinge... what's new?! Except it was the very beginning of a global pandemic and stranger danger was real. We happened to live down the street from each other and started seeing each other all the time (because what else was there to do!). In August of 2020, Jake got a new job and was being relocated to Boston at a later date, but we figured what's the harm! So we kept seeing each other... with no real plan on what to do after Jake moved away. And to top it all off, we didn’t really tell anyone about each other because you know… Jake moved to Boston at the end of February 2021. After lots of big feelings and one long break, we saw each other at Thanksgiving and knew it was worth trying again. Morgan flew out to Boston that Christmas and a plan was put in place to make long distance work and be together again in Boston. After a winter and spring filled with lots of flights and late night FaceTime dates, Morgan moved out to Boston in August of 2022. This past April, Jake surprised Morgan with a whirlwind trip back to Chicago, where he proposed in our old neighborhood with our favorite coffee in hand! We are beyond excited to begin our next chapter together as husband & wife!
