When should I RSVP?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating will open at 3:00 PM, and the ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM. The driver of each vehicle entering Big Canoe is required to present a valid ID to the gate attendant at the entrance of Big Canoe. Given that a line may form at the gate, we recommend planning ample time to accommodate for delays at the gate.

Is there transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

Transportation to the reception is not provided. However, the Big Canoe Chapel and The Lodge at Old Mill both provide ample parking options, including wheelchair-accessible parking.

What does parking look like for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

At the Big Canoe Chapel, there is parking along the street in front of the chapel (recommended for guests requiring accessible parking) and a full parking lot behind the chapel. Additional parking is available along the road leading away from the chapel. At The Lodge at Old Mill, there is a gravel parking lot directly in front of the lodge. Additional parking is available along the road leading into the lodge.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The recommended dress code is Cocktail Attire. Ladies, consider wearing cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits/skirts. Guys, consider wearing jackets, button-downs, and slacks.
