Things to Do

There is so much to do in Charleston! You can't go wrong. Below are a few of our regular spots that we love.

Isle of Palms Beach

Isle of Palms, SC 29451

Stop by our local beach, Isle of Palms. We are closest to Station 25. There are several beach chair companies on the island that will help you set up your beach camp for the day. Visit the Isle of Palms Marina for some good drinks and a beautiful view after a long beach day, grab some good ole' southern biscuits for breakfast from Sea Biscuit, or enjoy some live music at the island's dive bar, the Dinghy.

Sullivan's Island Beach

Charleston, SC 29482

The less touristy version of Isle of Palms -- Sullivan's Island is lined with beautiful homes and delicious restaurants. Home Team serves delicious barbecue food and iced cocktails -- you have to try the wings and the iced Irish coffee. Other favorite eateries include Bearcats for gelato or Poe's Tavern for sandwiches.

Shem Creek

SC 29464

Walk along the boardwalk, rent a boat, paddle board, kayak, or watch the sunset at some of our favorite local eateries like Saltwater Cowboy or Muddies. If you make it to this neighborhood around breakfast time, stop by Page's Okra Grill for their famous shrimp and grits.

Rainbow Row

79-107 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Stroll through historic Charleston and see Rainbow Row and the Battery along East Bay Street. Stop by the pineapple fountain, the four corners of government, or Market Street. Grab a drink at one of the rooftop bar where we had our first date, the Vendue, or stop by one of our college favorites, Blind Tiger.

King Street

King Street, Charleston, SC

Lined with boutiques, restaurants, and bars, King Street will keep you occupied for hours. On the north side of King Street are delicious eateries like Leon's where you'll find fresh seafood or Little Jack's where you'll get one of the best burgers in town. On the south side of King Street is the Battery and shopping. In between, you'll find some of our favorite bars like Rec Room, AC's, Uptown Social, Cocktail Club, or Prohibition. You'll also find the beautiful College of Charleston campus, where we both earned our undergraduate degrees.
