Flight
When booking your flights to Spain there are several options, you can choose from. You can fly into Madrid or Barcelona then take a train to Valencia or you can fly into Valencia. Some of you might want to fly in early and spend a couple of days visiting either Madrid or Barcelona, if you have the time I highly recommend it. You can book a flight to Spain from any major airline, If you live in Dallas I highly recommend the nonstop flight Dallas- Madrid, it's a very convenient and easy flight.
Train
Trains Madrid - Valencia is about 1.5 hrs for high-speed AVE and 3 hrs for standard trains, with multiple departures daily. Additionally, multiple trains are available daily between Barcelona and Valencia, which take about 3.5 hrs. Please refer to www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/index.html for schedules, prices, and booking. When booking the AVE select Madrid (todas) and Valencia ( todas) same when booking from Barcelona use the "Todas" option. A taxi from the train station to the city center of Valencia generally goes for around €10. **The Spanish railway company RENFE, connects Madrid with Madrid-Barajas Airport through the local train network service "Cercanías" C1 and C10 lines. The train station is on terminal 4 floor -1, and is called Aeropuerto T4. To move to the other terminals there is a shuttle bus service connecting the terminals. For passengers with long-distance train tickets, or an AVE ticket (high-speed train), this service is free.
Travel Note
Metro/Tram. (www.metrovalencia.es) lines cross town and serve the outer suburbs. The metro runs from 5:30 am to midnight, and station entrances are marked with the letter 'M'. TAXI Uber’s are illegal in Valencia so you will have to use regular taxis but they can be called via apps. ~€10 will take you from the City of Arts and Sciences to the beach or the city center. There's a minimum daytime charge of €4 and a nighttime charge of €6. Radio-Taxi Valencia and Tele Taxi Valencia are two of several companies. Taxis are white with the city shield and their license number on the side. You can hail them in the street when the green light is on, from various taxi stands, or by phone. Rates are visible inside the cars, with the total price displayed on a meter including charges for flag-down, kilometers traveled, and other special extras (night service, public holidays, and train or airport services).
Hotel
This hotel is in the center of Valencia and near so many restaurants and sites. The hotel is also 8 minutes away walking from the church where we will be getting married, and from there we will have buses that will charter us to the venue and back.
