Hood River Travel

Portland International Airport (PDX) will be the easiest to fly in and out. Seattle is a ~4 hour drive but doable! There is a bus from Portland to Hood River, otherwise rental cars/sharing rides is encouraged. Hood River is ~1hr drive from Portland. We recommend learning about accommodations ASAP! Hood River is a small town, yet big travel destination, so it can book quickly. The Best Western, Hampton Inn, and Hood River Hotel are the most centrally located hotels. If you prefer hotels over Air BnBs and like to book in advance, Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn are your spots! If you're ok waiting until June to book, the Best Western is fantastic! If you like living on the edge or can't find any accommodations, The Hood River Hotel opens their availability in July. The Society Hotel is a gem across the river. VRBO and AirBnB have great options! If you aren't finding something you love, look into enjoying Hood River for a few extra days. Many of the homes have 3-5 night min.
