FAQs

We are anticipating most questions will be about accommodations in the area. Kelsi has a very solid understanding of options in the area so don't hesitate to reach out: 720-771-2024. If you are staying beyond Hood River, make sure you have a car of some sorts to get around. Other places to stay are White Salmon (right across the river), The Dalles, Mosier, and Cascade Locks.
Question

Should I stay in Hood River?

Answer

Hood River is definitely the epicenter for all the activities and memories! Let us know if you need any guidance on where to stay in the area and take a look at the Hood River Travel page for more details. No matter how long you are able to stay or where, we would love to share our wedding night with you!!

Question

Are there Ubers/Lyfts we can rely on?

Answer

No and Yes. We recommend staying as close to downtown Hood River or having a DD if you're planning to drink at the various gatherings and are staying driving distance from downtown Hood River. We are planning for most activities to be walking distance to downtown Hood River. There are a couple of taxi services in Hood River, but Ubers and Lyfts are far and few between. We will have a shuttle of some kind to and from the venue which is ~20min drive from downtown Hood River.

Question

Is there parking at Mt. Hood Organic Farms (wedding venue)?

Answer

Yes! If you plan to drive, there is plenty of parking for everyone at the venue. Just ensure that if your party is drinking that someone is the DD! The roads are a little curvy and out in farm country there is less lighting. We want everyone to be safe and let there hair down at our celebration so we will be providing shuttles to and from the venue for those who do not want to drive!

Question

Are kiddos invited?

Answer

We love all of the kids in our life, but for now, this party is for 13 yo and up (except newborns or kiddos in the wedding crew). We will let you know if this changes <3
