Unfortunately, due to the capacity limit at the wedding venue, only the children of immediate family are invited. Thank you for understanding.
We encourage all guests to be fully vaccinated and test prior to attending any events. Feel free to wear a mask at any time throughout the weekend for your comfort level.
The wedding venue sits at 8,250 feet above sea level. For guests arriving from lower elevation, it might be a good idea to arrive in town at least 24 hours prior to the events to acclimate to the altitude. Remember to drink lots of water and rest when needed. Additionally, higher altitude can heighten your response to alcohol, so please drink responsibly.
Arrive and start getting seated at 3:30-3:45. Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.
Nathrop is a beautiful remote mountain town that is close to two additional small towns: Buena Vista and Salida. Both Buena Vista and Salida are about 10-15 minutes outside of the resort. At certain times you may lose cell reception in the mountains. Additionally, not all areas of the resort have cell service or internet. At the main lodge at Mt. Princeton, you will have both cell service and internet.
-Mary Murphy Steak House: Steak House in the main lodge open from 8am-9pm for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with some takeout available. -Princeton Market: a small convenience store with snacks, open 9am-6pm. -The towns of Buena Vista and Salida both have great dining options
In addition to your wedding outfits and swimsuit for the pool, you might want to bring layers. Although Colorado weather is notoriously sunny, the summer mountain weather can bring many different temperatures in one day. June weather in Buena Vista has historically been sunny and warm throughout the day with a quick afternoon shower and ended with cooler temps in the evening. Please check the weather prior to packing (search Salida, CO or Buena Vista, CO).
