The Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Erica Coulter and Jake Meador

Mitch Meador

Officiant

Mitch is the middle child in the Meador family. Jake will never forget the time Mitch put him in a chokehold and tried to make him eat a bug. They'll always butt heads (lol at the photo Jake chose) but they actually do love each other. We're excited (and a little nervous) to hear Mitch's mic skills as he officiates our wedding.

Spencer Coulter

Groomsman and Ceremony Musician

If there was a contest for Erica's longest friendship, Spencer would definitely win. These twins have been together since the beginning or as they like to say #WombtoTomb, but are looking forward to welcoming Jake into their sibling club. Also, his musical talent is unparalleled, so you'll see him strumming his guitar during the wedding ceremony!

Tiffany Simpson

Matron of Honor

Tiffany and Erica met in 3rd grade. They were instant friends, spending almost everyday together growing up and laughing nonstop. After over 20 years of friendship, they are more like sisters than besties. Erica even got promoted to Aunt Erica by Tiff’s 5 beautiful kiddos (say hi to her ushers Ben and Luke and flower girl Meira). Erica is beyond grateful to have Tiffany stand next to her on her big day.

Reid Meador

Best Man

Reid is the oldest Meador boy. Jake's job as the youngest was to constantly bother his older brother, provoking Reid to beat him half to death with his 40 lb book bag (nerd). But Jake's still kickin', forever pestering his oldest brother (as displayed in this photo Jake chose) from a place of love, of course.

Bart Houston

Groomsman

Jake and Bart met at the University of Wisconsin and put up with each other for 3 years as roommates. Bart was always the brains of the group, and as quarterback (and former Eagle Scout), he was responsible for keeping the boys in line. If you can't find him at the reception, look towards the dance floor, where we fully expect to see Bart with his finger guns.

Amy Coyle

Bridesmaid

Erica and Amy have been friends since kindergarten. Her ride or die, her sister from another mister, her sounding board and confidante and even her makeup artist on her wedding day, Amy has been there for it all. There's no way Erica would've made it through the last year of wedding planning without her (and there are plenty of 1am panicky texts to prove it).

Arthur Goldberg

Groomsman

Jake and Arthur met freshman year of college, when Arthur tried convincing Jake that he was related to professional wrestler Bill Goldberg. Pro tip: never leave these two alone together, because they'll definitely cause trouble. But seriously, we can't wait for Arthur's own wedding later this year. If you see him and his fiancee Samantha, tell them congrats!

Kaitlyn Blansett

Bridesmaid

The absolute funniest human you will ever encounter (if you're ever in DC, seriously, check out one of her standup comedy shows!), but also a true support for Erica ever since kindergarten. They've survived 5am swim practices, 4 years of college (one even in a tiny dorm room) and their first big girl jobs together. This is a pair of best friends that have truly grown up together. And it only makes sense then that Kaitlyn would also be planning her big day at the exact same time. Make sure you tell her congrats, too, on her upcoming wedding in October!

Logan Schmidt

Groomsman

Jake and Logan met freshman year of college, when Logan refused to ever leave Jake's apartment. When he did finally leave, he'd never say goodbye, but you'd always hear the door slam behind him. For a good time, call Logan Schmidt.

Allie Kast

Bridesmaid

Erica and Allie met at work, but there was no way they weren't becoming besties in real life. They became fast friends, leaning on one another during the good times and the bad, proving that it's never how long you know a person that counts. She's just an absolute joy of a human being and Erica’s adventure buddy (she even got Erica to snorkel). Plus, Allie planned Erica a kick ass bachelorette party, so if you're in the market, seriously, call her.

Stevie Nixon

Groomsman

Jake and Stevie met in the 5th grade and have been cracking jokes ever since. They did a ton of growing up together and still have plenty to do. They'll forever be chillin.

Deanna Walton

Bridesmaid

From the moment Deanna and Erica were shoved into tiny desks in the hallway together at their first big girl internships in Chicago, they knew they'd be friends for life. Whether it's Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta or anywhere else their adventures take them, you can bet you'll always find these two sipping a fancy latte and laughing together. Deanna is just one of those people who you can't help but love.

Gatlin Meador

Ring Bearer

Jake and Erica's nephew and son of our Officiant Mitch. This kid is hilarious, so we can't wait to see his performance down the aisle as he safely delivers our rings on our wedding day.

Jocelyn Meador

Flower Girl

Jake and Erica's niece and Best Man Reid's daughter. Jocelyn's smile is contagious, so we can't wait to see her beaming as she comes down the aisle as one of our flower girls.

Meira Simpson

Flower Girl

As Bridesmaid Tiffany's only daughter (in a house full of boys), Meira loves her "Aunt Erica". We can't wait to see her put on her fancy dress and walk down the aisle as one of our flower girls.

Benjamin & Luke Simpson

Ushers

Fellow twins Benjamin and Luke (Tiffany's first-born sons) were the first to call Erica "Auntie" and she has loved watching them grow up (though that can slow down). She is so proud to see them as Ushers on her special day, with a little help from their dad Jarad.
