Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at German Park in Indianapolis (8600 S. Meridian St.).

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding day events will be held outdoors. The ceremony and dinner will be held in an uncovered green space and the reception will be held under a covered pavilion. In the case of inclement weather, all events will be held under a covered pavilion. But please cross your fingers for beautiful weather!

Is there parking at the venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Ample parking is available at the venue. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide transportation to and from the venue; however, there are many rideshare options available nearby (Uber/Lyft/etc.), and you are welcome to leave your car parked at the venue overnight, should you enjoy a few drinks and need to pick your vehicle up the next day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure you're seated and ready to enjoy the ceremony (and to avoid bumping into the bride coming down the aisle), please arrive by at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins, no later than 4:15pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is preferred , though we would love to see you in your best outfit! We're going for outdoor glam, so do be sure to bring a jacket if it's cool. Note: the ground can be soft in many areas, as this is an outdoor space. We suggest leaving the stilettos at home and opting for a flatter shoe!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, well-behaved kids are definitely welcome to share in our day! There is even a playground for them to enjoy if they need to burn off some energy. If your little one has the wiggles, is missing nap time or is just generally not super excited to sit through a wedding ceremony, please pick one of the many quiet areas on the property to help them and return when they're ready. We appreciate your help in this :)

Will there be an open bar?

C'mon, you know us. Of course! A variety of beer, wine, liquor and non-alcoholic beverages will be happily provided.
