Wedding PartyWedding Party

These are the friends and family who’ve supported us, made us laugh, and been by our sides through it all. Get to know our wedding party!

Britt MachadoBritt Machado

Jake's Groomswoman

Britt is one of those rare people who just gets you. She’s been by my side for years, always showing up without being asked, helping without expecting anything in return, and somehow knowing exactly when I need a laugh or a real talk. We’ve made so many memories—big and small—and we always end up laughing until we cry over the most ridiculous things (half the time, we don’t even remember why). That’s the magic of Britt. She makes life more fun, more grounded, and more meaningful. I’m incredibly lucky to have her as a groomswoman—and even luckier to have her as a lifelong friend.

Brittney BurkheadBrittney Burkhead

Cash's Groomswoman

Though we’re not close in age and definitely not close geographically, Brittney and I manage to talk almost every day. We’ve always bonded over our love of music and movies, which makes spending time together so much fun. We also must have similar tastes in men because both of our guys are named Jake (which makes family group chats really confusing). I’m so grateful for the special connection we’ve always shared and for the endless laughs, support, and love.

Shawn KelleyShawn Kelley

Jake's Groomsman

Shawn and I became friends when he worked for my family’s company, and not long after, we both happened to be looking for new places to live. What started as a coincidence turned into four years of being roommates—and an even stronger friendship. He was the very first person I told about Cash, and I’ll never forget how genuinely excited he was for me. That moment really stuck with me, and it says a lot about the kind of friend Shawn is. Over the years, we’ve shared a ton of laughs, lessons, and more late nights out than I can count—and I know he’ll always be one of my closest friends. I’m truly grateful for his friendship and everything we’ve experienced together.

Mariah BelcherMariah Belcher

Cash's Groomswoman

Mariah and I go way back—all the way to second grade, when she was actually my very first girlfriend (a title she held for a very short time). I don’t think we’ll ever fully accept that we’re adults with real jobs and real lives now, but we’re still friends for the same reasons that brought us together in second grade. Over the past 20 years, our friendship has never wavered, no matter where life has taken us. I’ve loved watching her find her perfect match in Max, and now I can’t wait for her to stand beside me as I marry mine.

Jeanie LombardiJeanie Lombardi

Jake's Groomswoman

I met Jeanie through mutual friends, and over the years, our friendship has only grown stronger. She’s always up for a good time and never hesitates to join me for a night out when I need one. More than that, she’s someone I can confide in completely, knowing I’ll never face a single ounce of judgment. Her kindness, loyalty, and fun-loving spirit make her such an incredible friend, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side!

Taylor FridenTaylor Friden

Cash's Groomswoman

Taylor and I have been inseparable since our days at Pioneer Elementary. From countless nights camping in the car at underage parties to eventually becoming roommates, she’s been by my side through it all. Even though she lives 2,000 miles across the country now, she’s still one of my very best friends—the one I can always count on to share my best laughs with. No amount of distance could change our bond.

Josh MillsJosh Mills

Jake's Groomsman

I'm happy to have my brother Josh be part of our special day. He and his wife, Ivette, are raising an incredible son, Isiah, and it’s been great to see their family grow. Cash and I always look forward to our trivia nights with them—we make a great team and always have a blast competing together. We’re excited to celebrate with them and all our loved ones on this big day!

Chase McDonaldChase McDonald

Cash's Groomsman

Chase and I grew up together on Karen Street, practically spending every night of our high school days together. Some of our best weekend memories? Watching Jersey Shore, hitting the gym, tanning, and doing laundry. GTL! I’m grateful to call Chase my chosen brother, and a member of my Wolfpack. I’m proud of where life has taken him and can’t wait to see where he continues to go.

Jennifer BernardiniJennifer Bernardini

Jake's Mother

There’s no way to sum up what my mom means to me in just a few sentences, but I’ll try. She’s been my biggest supporter and the person who has always showed up—no matter what. Her love is thoughtful, consistent, and completely unwavering. I couldn’t be luckier to have such an accepting and loving mother—someone who welcomed Cash like another son and made him feel like part of the family from day one. As I take this next step, I’m so grateful for the foundation she gave me—for the values, the strength, and the heart she passed down without even realizing it. So much of who I am is because of her, and I couldn’t imagine this day with her

Shyanne HenryShyanne Henry

Cash's Groomswoman

ShyShyy and I have been tight since middle school, back when she first moved to Quincy. I initially wanted to befriend her because I thought her brother was cute (iykyk)—but it didn’t take long for me to realize that she was going to be a lifelong friend. With her bubbly personality and effortless way of making friends, Shyanne quickly became someone I couldn’t imagine life without. No matter how many moves or life changes we’ve been through, our friendship (and Snapstreak) will never die!

Zoe BurkheadZoe Burkhead

Cash's Mother

Like the Golden Girls once said, my mom’s heart is true—she’s my pal and confidant for life. I couldn’t have asked for a better mom to raise me. She’s been there for every dentist appointment, soccer game, prom, and birthday, always showing up with love and support. From vacations and road trips to concerts and everything in between, we always have fun and somehow manage to be the life of the party wherever we go. I’m especially grateful for the bond she and Jake have built over the past five years—it means the world to me. There’s truly no one else I’d want standing by my side on such a special day.

Eric WestEric West

Jake's Father

My dad has shown me what true resilience looks like. He’s faced more than his fair share of challenges in life, and somehow, he’s always come out stronger. Through his determination and strength, he’s taught me one of the most important lessons I’ll carry with me forever: that I can persevere through anything, and that with enough heart and hard work, I can accomplish whatever I set my mind to. I’m so incredibly thankful for the person he is—for his his love and the way he leads by example. One of the things I admire most is the way he’s embraced Cash with open arms. His acceptance, support, and genuine care have meant the world to both of us. I deeply admire the journey he’s taken to get where he is today, and I’m proud to be his son. His story, his character, and the man he is continue to shape me—and I’ll always look up to him for that.

Ian BurkheadIan Burkhead

Cash's Father

The Burkhead genes run strong—and two things I definitely inherited from my dad are my love of cars and, unfortunately, my receding hairline. I’m incredibly grateful for everything he’s given me over the years—from my first set of tools to helping me build my first car. He’s always instilled in me a strong work ethic and a deep sense of pride in doing things right. Watching my parents’ marriage has been a true example of love, partnership, and commitment—one I’ve learned so much from and will always be grateful for.

Jessica EvensonJessica Evenson

Jake’s Aunt

It didn’t feel right not including my Aunt Jessica here—because she’s been like a second mother to me my entire life. She’s always been there with guidance, love, and support, and her presence has shaped me in more ways than I can count. Jessica is the voice of reason in our family—the one we all turn to when we need perspective, comfort, or just someone to truly listen. She’s the glue that keeps us connected, and her love and generosity know no bounds. No matter what’s going on, I know she’ll always be there for any one of us. I’m so thankful for the role she’s played in my life, and I couldn’t imagine this day without honoring her and everything she’s meant to me.

Bonnie ClarkBonnie Clark

Officiant

Bonnie has been a constant presence in Cash’s life from the very beginning—offering wisdom, encouragement, and an open heart every step of the way. She’s more than a friend; she’s family. When Cash began introducing Jake to the most important people in his life, Bonnie was one of the very first. Her stamp of approval meant the world—and over time, she became family to Jake as well. Together, Jake and Cash couldn’t imagine a more meaningful person to stand with them on their wedding day. Bonnie and Mike’s marriage has long been a beautiful example of love, partnership, and humor—qualities that inspire them both. Having Bonnie officiate isn’t just special—it’s deeply personal, and a true reflection of the love and support that surrounds their union.
