Downtown Waxahachie
Have some spare time before the ceremony? Camille's hometown, Waxahachie, has a beautiful downtown area that is built around the Ellis County Courthouse. There are plenty of boutiques for the gals, breweries for the boys, and several antique shops for both of y'all! Camille recommends Blume or Copper Rose if any gals need a last-minute outfit or just want some retail therapy. Jake and Camille recommend College Street Pub if you get hungry while exploring Downtown Waxahachie. If you're just thirsty, check out Railport Brewing Company or Southern Roots Brewing Co.
Arlington
Arlington, Texas is the home to many Texas treasures! About 40 minutes northwest of Waxahachie, you'll be able to visit Six Flags Over Texas, Globe Life Field, and even the Dallas Cowboys stadium. If you're wanting to make a long weekend trip to DFW for our special day, definitely look into all of the iconic sights Arlington has to offer.
Stockyards Boulevard
A favorite of Camille's, the Fort Worth Stockyards is the Nashville of Texas. Whether you identify as a country bumpkin or not, the Stockyards has a little bit of something for all. If you like good food, good music, and good people (for the most part), make some time to visit the Fort Worth Stockyards.
