It all started at the very prestigious, Harvard of West Texas, Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. We started our college careers as complete strangers, and left destined to live eternity together. As two students who were pursuing future professions in the medical field, we wound up initially meeting each other in a prerequisite class for both of our majors. Can you guess what class that was? If you were thinking chemistry, you are nearly spot on. On a toasty September day at the beginning of the Fall 2019 semester, we both found ourselves needing a lab partner in Organic Chemistry Lab. Camille wandered to the back of the classroom where Jake was scouting out his prospects for lab partners. Somehow, someway, Jake decided to ask the girl who looked like she didn't have a clue what was going on to be his lab partner. A risky chance he took, but we like to think it lucked out for the both of us. For the remainder of the Fall 2019 semester, we remained friends and an elite lab partner duo. After the fall of 2019, we kept in touch, but it was not until a year later that our love story officially began. Despite all the bad that the year 2020 brought our world, it brought many people together, including us. We started dating in the fall of 2020, and folks, the rest is history!
