Best Man
Where do I start, the ruckus has been going for over 12 years now. From walking home after a party which took hours to walking through the Louvre together in Paris. There's been so many memories all so different from the last, unless it was staying up all night playing Xbox or him coming in and waking me up for the school bus because that happened a lot. Callum has been a consistent lifelong friend, someone who gets my humour more than anyone else. It's been truly special having a friend who's stayed by my side, who accepts you for your flaws but loves you no less. I wouldn't be able to have this day without having my big man by my side.
Groomsman
Daniel is the friend full of love. Always there for a great chat when ever and always ready to lend a hand. Dan and I have been friends for a long time, playing through junior and senior footy together, we have so many great memories from funny nights out to early morning golf rounds. Doesn't matter what is going on Dan is the man who will always think of something to lift the spirit. Dan has always been there for me and it's an absolute honour to have him as a groomsmen. I look forward to what the future holds for our friendship.
Groomsman
Well I've known this guy for a while. How couldn't I have my brother standing up next to me on my big day! Having grown up biting, kicking and punching or finding any other way to hurt each other its been great that our relationship has changed to more peaceful rounds of golf and laughs around the dinner table. It's been amazing to see him grow from a decent brother to an amazing Dad for my nephews. I look forward to celebrating his big day down the track. I can't wait to have kids of my own so he can try and be as cool of an uncle that I am.
Maid of Honor
I first met Tamika not all that long ago really at one of our University placements. We organised to catch the train together to our first day of placement. It's always nerve-racking meeting someone for the first time, preempting the presumed moments of silence or running out of conversations. Tamika and I talked and talked with no awkward moments, we had so many similarities it was like we had been in each other's lives forever. Honestly, we haven't stopped yapping since the day we met. I learned quickly Tamika's heart is bigger than anyone I've ever met, she would quite literally do anything for the people she loves. Tamika and I since the moment we met have shared so many highs and lows, not once fearing our relationship would fizzle out after such a short time of knowing one another. Tamika is someone I truly admire and am so blessed to have apart of my life. She has the ability to turn all your grey days into days full of colour and is there whenever you need.
Bridesmaid
I first met Emily first in high school, we went to separate schools and lost touch here and there but re-kindled our friendship again when Dan and Emily started dating. It's funny I always tell Em, I wish I could be more like her and she never believes me. Em is truly one of a kind in some of the best ways possible. Emily is always the light of the room, she's a free spirit and who is always true to her authentic, fun-loving personality. She is unintentionally funny and can make you laugh like no other. Emily and I relate in so many ways and she is one of the best listeners I have ever met, always there to lend an ear even if there is nothing to say. I truly feel bad for everyone who doesn't have an Emily in their life, she has taught me so many things, some she would likely have no idea about. Emily has a heart of gold but if anyone messes with the ones she loves you will most definitely hear about it (especially a few drinks in.) I pinch myself often thinking about my future and feel so lucky knowing she will be there by my side for the rest of time.
Bridesmaid
Amy and I first met in our last year of University, on a placement we both hated. We quickly bonded over our hate for placement and kept in touch after it ended. We started Facetiming all the time and talked for hours with no break. Although we haven't known each other for a long time in the scheme of things, Amy turned into family quickly. We went from strangers who met on a 8 week placement to friends who explored Santorini together- even if it was only for a few hours. There is never a conversation I can't have with Amy, often a quick coffee date turns into hours of yapping with a long espy walk. Amy is a fierce friend who never misses to tell you how much she loves and appreciates you, and will protect you and her loved ones at all costs. Amy can be wild and carefree, and makes you belly laugh like no one else. Amy is someone I truly look up to and am proud to call my friend, I would not be able to celebrate my day without her standing up by me.
