What about Hurricane Ian?
Answer
The venue is fine. There is a lot of debris around Sarasota and Venice, but most buildings facilities and infrastructure are okay. If you booked reservations along the beach or on an island we recommend reaching out to your accommodations next week to ensure they are okay and can host.

What should I wear?
Answer
Semi-Formal Attire. Please be aware the ceremony will be outside on grass during daylight hours. The reception will be held indoors. We recommend wearing or bringing an additional pair of shoes that can be used on grass.

The predicted average temperature in Nokomis will be 59°F - 74°F ( 15°C - 23°C ).

May I take a centerpiece home as a souvenir?
Answer
No, all centerpieces belong to the venue so we kindly ask that you leave the centerpieces on the table.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! We will have an entertainment room for the kids adjacent to the reception area. Your kids are free to dance and celebrate with the adults as well.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list that is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Our venue is very accommodating of all special dietary needs. Please let us know in your RSVP or reach out to Jake or Elisabeth to make sure you are registered for a special meal.

Yes! Please RSVP to our welcome dinner on December 2nd in the evening

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Answer
The Venetian River Club is located in a gated community. Please state your name to the guard house and mention you are there to attend our wedding event. Once inside, please park in front of the Venetian River Club. There is plenty of free parking.
