We're getting married!

Our Love Story I met Mike during my senior year of high school 2015, and even though we went to rival schools, there was something about him that felt safe, familiar, and meant for me. Our story began with long calls, playful texts, and a connection that grew deeply before we ever went on our first date. Before that date could happen, there was one big test, my family. My older brother tried his best to scare Mike off, but It didn’t work at all. Mike showed up as a gentleman from the very beginning. And when I met his family, they welcomed me with genuine kindness and open arms. Their warmth made me feel like I belonged. Mike courted me in the sweetest ways, always thoughtful, always gentle, always making me feel cherished. Soon after, we made it official. From watching each other at school games, to even going to prom together! We celebrated each other’s graduations, and lived out the beautiful milestones of young love. After high school, life took us in different directions. I went to college, and Mike joined the military. When he left for basic training, communication was nearly impossible, so we wrote letters, those letters held our hearts. Each envelope was filled with hope, longing, and promises that distance wouldn’t change how we felt. Whenever we could, we traveled to see each other. Road trips, holidays, and every little chance we got to close the miles between us. For three years, we made long distance feel worth every second. But life changed, and we eventually decided to go our separate ways, softly saying, “If we’re meant to be, we’ll find each other again.” And we meant it. Two years later, God brought us back to each other; stronger, more mature, and finally ready for the love we always knew was ours. We moved in together and built another beautiful three years filled with laughter, healing, comfort, and growth. Then came the most magical moment of all, on October 4th, 2024, Mike got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. After everything we walked through, it felt like our love story had come full circle. 2016 to 2026! Now we’re counting down the days until we say “I do” to the love of my life, my high school sweetheart, my best friend, my answered prayer. I truly believe God placed us together from the start, guided us through every chapter, and reunited us right on time. Countdown to 4-10-26!
