Friday January 28th there will be a golf game organized with the groom, family, and friends at the first golf course in Central America. Click the link for details about the course. Shorter and less vigorous hike than El Fuego and Acatenango but no less wonderful, including vistas of the lava and volcano activity. Multiple options including to add on a visit to the hot springs spa or go at sunset. All hikes include lunch or dinner depending on the time. Cheaper rates if booked in a larger group 3-4+ (see PDFs for full details on the linked website)
Overnight hike to Acatenango base camp with option to go to the constantly active volcano of El Fuego (where our proposal took place)! The following day provides option to summit Acatenango. Click through to the tour group who we traveled with Wicho and Charlie's. All inclusive for $150-200 for all meals, guides, and tents (shared or private). Give yourself at least 1 day to recover and note, this is not a hike for beginners.
Approximately 2 hours from Antigua. There are options to do a full day trip for kayaking and to enjoy the lake or to spend several days here prior to coming to Antigua.
