Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jaimi Bergh and Michael McManus
We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the Palm Springs and Joshua Tree area with you!
Farm

Farm

6 La Plaza, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (760) 322-2724

Amazing outdoor brunch experience! Great mimosas and bloody Mary's! No reservations so expect to wait a bit. There are lots of great, little shops around to keep you occupied while you wait!

Rooster and the Pig

356 South Indian Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (760) 832-6691

This place is delicious, authentic Vietnamese! No reservations but worth the wait. There's a little bar next door where you can grab a drink, if there's room.

Sherman's Deli & Bakery

401 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (760) 325-1199

You can't get more authentic lox & bagels or corned beef hash on the west coast. This place is the best for a delicious breakfast! And do not leave without picking up a few Rughala to go. Their Rughala is to die for!

Counter Reformation

Counter Reformation

4200 East Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92264
, (760) 770-5000

They used to take reservations but looks like they're walk-in only. I don't know if it's possible to just pop-in unless you're staying at the Parker Hotel. If you are able to go, this place is fabulous. It's somewhere between an upscale French speakeasy and the old Cha Cha. The food was creative and delicious and the drinks were selective.

Workshop Kitchen & Bar

Workshop Kitchen & Bar

800 North Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (760) 459-3451

A favorite for Michael and I. We went for his birthday and splurged on the 90-day aged T-Bone. I've never had steak like it. They have a cute little patio with little tables.

4 Saints

100 West Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (760) 392-2020

This is the restaurant on top of the Rowan. Great food and better views! If you have the opportunity to go around sunset, get a drink at the pool bar before heading into dinner.

Cheeky's Palm Springs

Cheeky's Palm Springs

622 North Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (760) 327-7595

Amazing breakfast! Definitely try the bacon sample, and the Bloody Mary is a must!

Copley's on Palm Canyon

621 North Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (760) 327-9555

Lovely dinner spot with the most beautiful outdoor seating!

The Integratron

The Integratron

2477 Belfield Boulevard, Homestead Valley, CA 92285
, (760) 364-3126

Highly recommended sound bath experience! This place has the craziest origin story. The dome structure is the perfect for moving the sound from the humming bowls around the room. The experience definitely changes you!

Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park

CA

Joshua Tree NP is such a unique and special experience. When you drive into the park, it feels like you're driving onto a different planet. One of the only locations on the planet to find the actual Joshua Tree, an other-worldly tree. Try to arrive early as this is a very popular national park. And if you're up for the adventure, we highly recommend the hike up Ryan Mountain. The views up there are spectacular. The hike is best done in the early morning (around 8am) in order to be in shade for part of the hike, making it a lot less sweaty. Bring lots of water!!

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

1 Tramway Road, Palm Springs, CA 92262
, (888) 515-8726

This tram is the world’s largest rotating aerial tramway, transporting passengers 2.5 miles from the hot desert floor (Valley Station) to the cool, pine-filled Mt. San Jacinto State Park (Mountain Station, 8,516 ft) in just 10 minutes. Make sure you're prepared for cooler weather at the top. It's not uncommon for the temp to drop 30-40 degrees from the bottom to the top!

Salton Sea

100-225 State Park Road, Mecca, CA 92254

This place is on our wish list to visit while in Palm Springs. A ghost town of sorts in the California desert. Great for a photography session, but bring your nose plugs! It can smell like rotten eggs!
