Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
This Reserve consists of hiking trails that provide phenomenal views. It ultimately ends with a windy staircase that leads down to the water. It’s no wonder this is a favorite spot to visit!
Balboa Park
Museums, gardens, and the San Diego Zoo all make up this enormous park. You will find loads to do here to fill your day!
San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park
This underwater park has several attractions ranging from visible sea life, the Seven Sea Caves, to the Sandy Bottom Canyon (you can snorkel with Leopard Sharks here!). Paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling are all popular and fun activities to do here.
Cabrillo National Monument
A National Monument and lighthouse that is fun to explore for history buffs and sightseers. You will not be disappointed with the beautiful views here as well!
Sunset Cliffs
A personal favorite, Sunset Cliffs is a beautiful spot to visit during sunset (hence the name). Be sure to arrive about 45 minutes before the sun sets, as this is a popular destination. Grab yourself some takeout food and a blanket and enjoy this spectacular view!
