After growing up in Jamestown, Rhode Island, Austin moved to St. John in 2004. On February 22, 2016 Jaimee was looking for adventure, a break from New Hampshire’s cold winter, and to continue celebrating her birthday.... but she still needed encouragement to get her butt on a plane and make her way to St. John! ( Thank you, Thank you Becky Nichols!! ) After a long redeye flight, possibly being hungover, bird poop in her hair, a broken down bus, and no cell service Jaimee made it across the island to visit her dear friend, Danielle Corbett. At this point Jaimee was flustered to say the least. A pack of little yapping dogs would send her up to a house on a hill, with hopes that she had finally made it to Danielle’s house. As fate would have it Danielle was not home to greet Jaimee or tell her she was in fact in the right location. Thankfully her neighbor Austin was home...
