Matron of Honor
Kelly and Jaime met in high school and have been best friends for over 12 years. They both share a love of karaoke and dance battles, which you are likely going to witness at the wedding.
Matron of Honor
Sarah is Jaime's older sister. Although Sarah is older, Jaime outgrew her sister pretty quickly. It was Jaime who gave Sarah her hand-me-downs most of their life due to their noticeable height difference. What she lacks in height, she makes up for by being the best sister.
Bridesmaid
Stacy is Jaime's sister-in-law and is married to Jaime's older brother, Dale. Dale and Stacy also live in the southwest, just a state away from Jaime and Weston. We are co-conspiring to get the rest of the family to move out here. I mean, who doesn't love the hot, dry desert?!
Bridesmaid
Nataliya is Jaime's sister-in-law and is married to Jaime's younger brother, Robert. Nat has many skills, like baking delicious treats, but the skill Jaime appreciates most is her ability to keep Robert in line.
Bridesmaid
Em is Jaime's sister-in-law. When Em was 7 months pregnant, she and Colton flew to DC to visit Weston and Jaime. It was June. Jaime and Weston didn't have air conditioning in their apartment. You can guess how pleasant that was for Em. Jaime is surprised that Em still talks to her after that incident.
Bridesmaid
Jaime and Haley go WAY back. They played softball together for many years as children before becoming best friends in high school. They may not have ended up being softball superstars, but their friendship is a home run.
Bridesmaid
Steph and Jaime have been best friends since high school. They gave each other nicknames in high school - Ethel and Edna - which came about because they both have grandma tendencies. The nicknames didn't stick, but their friendship did. And you could argue their grandma tendencies did too.
Bridesmaid
Ashley has been Jaime's sassy best friend since college. They were roommates for two years in college, and with that came late night dance parties to "We Found Love" by Rihanna, expensive cable bills because *someone* had to order Magic Mike pay-per-view over and over again, and a lot of life advice as they graduated college and went into the real world.
Bridesmaid
Alison and Jaime went to high school together, but became best friends in college. Until recently, Alison held the record for who Jaime lived with the longest (Weston now holds that title). You know how the saying goes - "you don't really know someone until you live with them"? Well Alison and Jaime tested that and are still best friends today, which is a true testament to their friendship.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa and Jaime have been best friends since college. They both share a love for Taco Bell and aren't ashamed of it. One of the things that makes Jaime most proud of Alyssa is her innate ability to chug a beer (or any drink for that matter) in about .5 seconds. It's really impressive, and if you're lucky you might witness it at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Rose was Jaime's first friend when she moved to DC. Jaime knew she liked Rose when she put a couple drunk guys in their place at an after party they were at the first night they met. It just so happens Rose's wedding is a few months before Jaime's, so 2018 is a year of celebration for these two!
Best Man
Colton is Weston's brother. Like Harper Lee said, “You can choose your friends but you sho' can't choose your family..." So this is what Weston ended up with.
Groomsman
Six years after Weston's mother gave birth to what would be her best-looking child (Weston), she desperately wanted a daughter. Instead, she had twin boys. This is one of them.
Groomsman
This is the other twin. You'll notice they look nothing alike.
Groomsman
Weston met Dusty in junior high, where they shared an interest in listening to Black Sabbath in smokey basements.
Groomsman
Weston met Winston in elementary school, where they bonded over having names that began with a "W." They've since grown to resent this similarity.
Groomsman
Kev used to buy beer for Weston and his friends in high school. Now they share a lot more in common.
Groomsman
Fun fact: Bill helped Weston get a summer gig at the L.A. Times. It's all about who you know, so Weston cold-called Bill one day because they'd both gone to ASU. Bill answered and promptly said he was too busy to talk. (Bill ended up putting in a good word later.)
Groomsman
Anthony and Weston met at ASU. Weston still considers him a friend, despite Anthony holding flat-out false and FAKE NEWS beliefs that the Beatles are anywhere close to being as good as the Stones.
Groomsman
Weston met Carlos in Phoenix. Carlos calls Weston his "pinche gringo culero" friend. Whatever that means. Come on man, speak English.
Groomsman
Allan and Weston met in Phoenix. And unlike some people Weston knows, Allan correctly believes the Stones are way, way better than the Beatles. Allan also used to burn Weston CDs like James Brown's "In The Jungle Groove" and the best of the Flying Burrito Brothers, because Weston's '64 bug only accepted this archaic form of music. Thanks Allan.
Groomsman
Nate and Weston went to high school together, then shared an apartment for a couple years in Phoenix. They did not accidentally light the backyard on fire once. Nor did Weston ever accidentally fling a bottle at Nate's head in Central Park.
Groomsman
In Phoenix, when Weston asked if there was anyone who wanted to go to Ciudad Juarez for spring break, Branden was the only taker. They've been kindred spirits ever since.
