Weston and Jaime met through mutual friends... and by mutual friends we really mean they met on one of the most notorious dating apps, Tinder. Given his journalism background, Weston was quick to woo Jaime with his witty banter. It took a few weeks of flirting and making fun of one another to actually meet in person, but once they did they were inseparable... kind of. I say kind of because, after knowing each other for about a month, Weston decided to take a job in DC and move 900 miles away from Jaime. That could have been the end for this duo, but Jaime had something up her sleeve. After a few months of long distance, Jaime coincidentally got a job offer in DC. Some might say it had something to do with Weston, but we'll never know for sure. Jaime and Weston lived in DC for 3 blissful years. After Jaime got thousands of dollars in parking tickets, Weston got a few black eyes (not from Jaime), and they both shared plenty of memorable moments with friends, Weston got a job offer in Santa Fe and they moved across the country. Before the move to Santa Fe, Weston made sure DC would always hold a special place in their hearts by proposing to Jaime in front of the Jefferson Memorial on September 23, 2017. Although he made her paddle-boat in jeans in 100-degree weather, Jaime was awestruck at how romantic the proposal was. Not only did he totally surprise her, he flew her best friend and her husband to DC to be a part of the proposal. Kelly and Phil were on a separate paddle boat sweating their butts off and were able to capture the whole event in pictures! To top it all off, they were playing Jaime and Weston's song as they paddled up to surprise Jaime.
