The ceremony will take place in the Statuary Vista garden at Norfolk Botanical Gardens, a beautiful setting for our special day.

What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the venue by 12:30 PM when the gates open. This will give you ample time to catch the tram to the ceremony location. The ceremony begins promptly at 1:30 PM, and the Gardens are expansive, so we suggest boarding the tram 45, 30, or 15 minutes before the ceremony start time to ensure you don't miss a moment of our special day.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is semi formal/ formal garden attire, featuring an elegant palette of earthy tones like sage green, forest green, and beige. We welcome spring and summer pastels as well, so feel free to express your personal style while complementing our outdoor setting. We can't wait to see everyone looking their absolute best in comfortable, flowing attire that will keep you cool and stylish throughout our celebration.

Is the Ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will be held outdoors in a beautiful open-air setting. To ensure your comfort during the June event, we'll provide complimentary water and handheld fans. We recommend wearing light, flowy attire that will keep you cool and comfortable. For footwear, we suggest avoiding thin heels and instead opting for wedges or thick heels that won't sink into the lawn area.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask our guests to put away their cameras and phones during the ceremony. Our goal is for everyone to be fully present and immersed in the moment. Our professional photographers will beautifully capture every special detail, allowing you to relax and enjoy the celebration. We look forward to sharing our wedding photos with you through our social media or direct sharing after the event.

Yes, children solely listed on your invitation are warmly welcome to join our wedding celebration! We simply ask that parents or guardians supervise their children, particularly during the ceremony, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Yes, complimentary parking is available at both our ceremony and reception venues! We've ensured convenient and accessible parking for all of our guests.

What should I expect at the reception?

Answer

Our reception will be a delightful, laid-back celebration featuring a mixture of food from both cultures and complimentary drinks. Instead of a high-energy party, we're creating a relaxed atmosphere with soft background music and engaging bridal games and lawn games like cornhole and/ or “beer" pong to keep the energy fun and interactive.
