Jahaziel and Chelbi met in 2015 at Arkansas Governor’s School Summer program. They quickly became good friends and enjoyed spending time together that summer. They remained friends throughout the years, even while going to separate colleges. Chelbi started medical school in Fort Smith and Jahaziel moved there shortly after when he accepted a job at UAFS. They started hanging out more and more and even moved into neighboring houses purely by coincidence! They eventually shared their true feelings with one another and have been together since August 2023!
